Ninja Foodi Ham

Ninja Foodi Ham, cooked in a pressure cooker with an air-crisped glaze, is a super easy and delicious way to cook holiday ham this year.

Ninja Foodi Ham Recipe

Ninja Foodi Boneless Ham

Long gone are the days when the entire oven was taken over for hours, and the rest of the food had to be in the slow cooker.

While I have literally nothing against the slow cooker (it’s an amazing kitchen essential), there are so many delicious side dishes that are made in the oven.

Using the pressure cooker to make your ham gives you the oven back—rolls, oven-baked mac n cheese, and smashed red potatoes can all be made while the pressure cooker takes care of the main dish meal.

Ingredients

✔ Ninja Foodi 6.5 quart ✔PC & AC ✔ Thanksgiving Food!

The ham in this recipe was 4.5 lbs – Hickory Smoked Whole Natural Petite Boneless Ham (pre-cooked)

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small ham, about 4-6lbs
  • 1/2 cup Apricot preserves
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi + Wire Rack + Inner Ceramic Pot

SUMMARY: PC High, Natural Release + AC (see article for times.)

Please note that this is a fully cooked ham from the store. This means the packaging should say pre-cooked, baked, smoked, or cured. Almost all hams from the store are precooked.

Cooking Ham in the Ninja Foodi

Because hams typically come fully cooked, prepping ham in the Ninja Foodi all-in-one is a snap! Simply pressure cook to perfection and then air crisp the homemade apricot glaze!

Place the roasting rack into the instant pot’s ceramic inner pot.

Pour 1 cup of water into the pot.

Place the boneless ham on the rack.

Cooking Ham in the Ninja Foodi, pour in water and place ham on the rack

Place the pressure cooker lid onto the Foodi and twist it to seal it shut.

Close the pressure release valve. <——————————Do not forget this!

Set the Ninja Foodi to Pressure Cook on high for 10 minutes.

When cooking is complete, naturally release steam for 10 minutes.

Apricot Ham Glaze

The glaze is good and sweet, and it gets nice and crispy when you AC in the final step.

While the ham is cooking, mix the glaze.

Add preserves, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar and mix well. Set aside.

Carefully remove the pressure cooker lid when the cooking is complete.

Spoon glaze on top of the ham, and using the Air Fryer lid, set the Foodi to Air Crisp for 8 minutes.

Apricot Ham Glaze

When the cooking cycle is complete, open the pot and carefully remove the ham.

The roasting rack will help you remove the ham from the Foodi, since it’s molten lava hot.

Spoon glaze on top of the ham and using the Air Fryer lid, set the Foodi to Air Crisp for 8 minutes.

Slice and serve.

Can a spiral ham be made in the Ninja Foodi?

Most spiral hams will not fit into the 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi. Most are just too large.

In theory, cooking would be about the same, but check your Foodi paperwork for time adjustments based on the size of the ham.
